Hey gals. Sorry for the silence. I took almost a two week hiatus from "Craving Baby". Just trying to not stress while waiting to test. As of today it's been 32 days since my last period... and I think I see a very very faint line on the preggers test. It may just be my imagination... but my DH sees it to. So I'm thinking there's a good chance I'm pregnant. I'll test again tomorrow or Tuesday to see if I get a darker line.

Hope all the mamas out there in the blogosphere are doing great.

I thought that when I started working for myself I would be able to avoid the "working weekend". Well, I've been freelancing for over three years now and let me tell you... I work almost every weekend. This weekend has been particularly busy, full of lots of logo designs and even some blog design work (which I love). Unfortunately yesterday was so busy I didn't even get to blog about Craving Baby. Oh boy... I am definitely craving baby this weekend.

AF still has not shown yet, making today the 28th day in my cycle. If she doesn't show (I'm crossing my fingers that she won't) by lunch time I may scoot my toosh over to the drugstore to pick up a preggers test... I only had two left and used them on days 24 and 26.

Hope all the ladies that attended loved BlogHer '08 had a fantabulous time. I am so bummed I wasn't able to go this year... I'm making it a priority to be there next year... although I'll have to rearrange a "working weekend" for it.

Today it was time (according to my calender) to test... and I got a BFN. AF has not arrived yet... but I've got the "I'm either PMS'ing or I'm pregnant" symptoms; headache, cramps, sore tatas. I'll let you know what happens.

Tomorrow is test day!

I've set Friday as the day that I'll be testing again... and of course I'm hoping for a BFP!!! The baby cravings are totally in full effect but I am trying to not think about it too much and stress over it... knowing that won't do any good. I'll be sure to post results on Friday.

It's Monday morning and not only am I craving a baby, I am now craving a babymoon! The DH and I have not had a real vacation in about a year and I am so in need of some R&R. I love what I do... but when you're a writer you can't get away from your computer unless you ban yourself from it.

I'll be able to take a preggers test early next week and if we get a BFP... we are gonna take a mini-vacay. I'm thinking a four day Bahamas cruise sounds like just the ticket!

Anybody planning a vacay for late summer? Anybody planning a babymoon?

Ooo... I hope I'll be!

I had planned to test again this Friday but unfortunately there won't be a need too. AF showed up this afternoon. Now we've only been trying for one month... so I can't say I'm too upset... but admittedly a little disappointed. Would have loved to have had it happen right away. The good news is that my body seems to be getting back on a regular schedule after having been on the pill for the past fifteen years. (I started taking the pill at 14 to regulate my period.) So I'll be logging into my Fertility Gal account this evening and adding AF to my calender. Better luck next month.

So I did test again on Thursday evening for those that are wondering. I spent the moola and bought a box of electronic preggers tests (3). I used one and the result was a BFNP. For those not familiar with BFNP... "Big Fat Not Pregnant." This is a term I've only recently learned, thanks to the many mommy blogs and pregnancy message boards.

Here I thought I'd be saving all this money on birth control pills... I'm pretty sure I've just re-allocated that cash towards tests... but the curiosity makes me do it.

Should I or shouldn't I?
I admit to being totally confused about the two tests I have taken during the last 48 hours. Might be time to invest in a more spendy "electronic" preggers test.

So I took a preggers test yesterday (patience has never been a virtue that I posses)... and it might be a figment of my imagination but I think there was a very faint line. Here's the 411 on the test... it was a cheap one from Target. I took it late in the afternoon (I know... should test in the am when hcg is stronger), thought I saw a line but wasn't sure. A few hours later due to my heightened curiosity took another test and didn't see a line. So I waited, wondered and then took a test today. Nothing. So I'm guessing it was my imagination. If AF doesn't show by next week then I'll buy one of the more spendy electronic tests and see what happens.

See for yourself...
The top test is the one that is makin' me crazy. It's almost impossible to see... but it really was there (although it did get darker a la evap line overtime.) The bottom one is the test that clearly shows no preggers... there would be a plus sign in the left window if hcg was present.
